Review
If you've read any Silverse books, you know Cam. If you haven't, start with the Solis Invicti series.

Cam is my favorite character across all the arcs in the Silverse, so I jumped at the opportunity to read Blood Work, a short story with him as the main man. The good news: readers get a glimpse of Cam's backstory and better understand his character. His introspection and actions are gratifying to read. I won't say more and spoil anything. The bad news: it's a short story. Do I recommend it? YES

I like books – print books. Not ebooks or audio books or short stories. But I make exceptions. Josie Jaffrey's short stories are one of the two (Molly Harper's audio books are the other). Although the plot is compact, Jaffrey makes every word count and delivers a tidy little episode that enhances this reader's experience of the other books in which Cam appears.

Extra:

The Sovereign Series

The Gilded King

The Silver Queen

The Blood Prince

The Seekers Series

Killian's Dead

May Day
