The Trees Talk

Mom's Review
The Trees Talk highlights the healing that nature provides. Grieving readers are encouraged to seek solace among the trees, are reminded that those who died are not lost to memory. The reassuring message, written in rhyming couplets, is accompanied by beautiful artwork that depicts the interconnectedness of all creation. As we read, we call to mind the love with which the Creator brought the earth, animals, and ourselves into being and how we feel more at peace when we welcome that connection. This message certainly resonated with me - I find that when I step into the trees, I immediately feel lighter.
I'd like to call your attention to another book I reviewed recently: Nature Knows. Both books emphasize what we innately know to be true, that we belong in the natural world and do ourselves a disservice when we alienate ourselves from it.
