Mom's Review
I cannot be more pleased by another Mouse book from Melvin. The detail-rich illustrations and flaps to lift offer a treasure trove of surprises, while the text is an ode to a day spent outdoors. Mouse narrates the hike, observing the wonders around him, and that narration flows smoothly for a read aloud - reading adult and listening child will both be whisked away to the mountains where they can swim in a calm lake and marvel at breathtaking vistas. I cannot laud Melvin's latest Mouse book highly enough - this is a gem!
