Pog and Pickle are adorable. Through rhyming text that flows almost uninterrupted, we meet the guinea pig duo as they venture from their home in the United States to meet other guinea pigs and capybaras in Peru. The two pets live a life of relative comfort and disagree on whether they should embark on an adventure - one stows away in the human family's luggage before they leave for Peru, and then the adventure begins. Full of excitement and imagination! If you love guinea pigs, this is a must read. It's very bouncy and the few lines that don't flow perfectly are forgiven by how much fun the whole books is. I hope this is only the first of many adventures for Pog and Pickle.
