I just love Jarvis's art style!
Oh man, a map on the end papers? You know it's gonna be good. And then when you finish and find ANOTHER map - a different one - at the end? How much better can it get?
Bear and Bird is an endearing story about two characters who bond over an activity and have so much fun on the journey even though they don't reach their goal. At first, they are disappointed, but then they realize that they enjoyed being together. Bear and Bird: The Cloud is all about the process, not so much about the product. I think children will really enjoy seeing how the duo pursues their goal of finding an octopus cloud (which the reader will see in the background of several pages).
