OMG! The dioramas are AMAZING!!! I can't think of another book with such art. Collages, sure, but dioramas, no. Miller's art isn't the only excellent aspect of Sun, Moon, and Star. Her retelling of the folktale about three sisters evading a hungry tiger who tricked them into opening the door to him is captivating. If you like Grimms' "The Wolf and the Seven Kids," which is one of my personal favorites, this is a must read. In fact, if you like traditional literature at all, this is a must read. You know what, this exciting girl power folktale with art that will make you want to get inventive yourself should simply be a must read with no caveats.
