I cannot imagine reading Neville's Great Escape without smiling nonstop! Neville the penguin who got eaten in Frank's Red Hat actually didn't get eaten. The whale took a mouthful of him, but didn't quite swallow. Great Escape is the banter-filled story of how the penguin and the already-chomped seal endeavor to free themselves from the orca's maw. Much like Frank's Red Hat, the dry humor and delightful illustrations will demand multiple rereads. Also, I just love the way the critters' eyes are drawn! They are so hilariously expressive!
