Will You Be My Valentine? is a very sweet board book whose characters each address the reader with a message of love and an invitation to be the character's Valentine. Black, white, and red minimalist illustrations accentuate the cuteness of each animal character, from the mouse to the penguin to the cat (and more). And each character emphasizes their appreciate for a different personality trait, like kindness, silliness, or courage. A great choice for lap reading that encourages conversation about the book!
