Mom's Review

Here Come the Cousins is a celebration of family get-togethers. The narrator, her mother, and grandfather live in a beach house together yearlong. In the summers, however, the entire extended family comes to stay. The cousins delight in their time together in the ocean, in the tree fort, reading in the hammock, and looking at old photo albums with their grandpa. The children's ages cover a wide range; they all play together happily. The important thing is spending time with family sharing joyful activities.

The children present different skin tones and the extended family presents as inter-racial.
