I absolutely love watching a storm roll in off the water, so I absolutely appreciate the desire of the kids on the cover to push the limits and watch as much of the storm's approach as they possibly can before heading home to safety. What an homage is Island Storm to the thrilling feel of the weather changing and the excitement of being a kid out when no one else is! Children who love to play in the rain, explore, or push the limits can see themselves in the siblings who pull each other onward to go farther, see more, and test their own limits.
