Who Ate Steve? is an hilarious romp. Poor Steve is subjected to multiple attempts by the large bird, Marcel. The narrator reproves Marcel, exhorting him to leave Steve in peace and allow the story to proceed. The raucous hunting attempts by Marcel end abruptly with a surprise ending. I've no doubt laughter with erupt with read alouds of Who Ate Steve?
