Lost and Found in History is just so fun! The book is divided by ancient civilization or historical cultural period, with each period comprising two sections of two-page spreads. The first section is a seek-and-find challenge that is not quite as complex as Where's Waldo, all of whose lost belongings I still haven't found, but also challenging enough to be enjoyable for a parent who is invited to play with their child. The second two-page spread is filled with high-interest facts and trivia presented in captions, sidebars, and dialogues across the fully illustrated pages. The format is interactive and inviting. Lots of fun and full of cats, Lost and Found in History is a fantastic addition to the seek-and-find genre.
