Oh Mousse, how I love your little socks! And how relatable you are with your displeasure with unexpected changes!

Mousse is an endearing creature of habit who is pushed out of his comfort zone, hates it at first, but eventually connects with the new person in his orbit. Their shared love of shells helps Mousse see beyond the traits that annoyed him initially. Mousse likes things the way he likes them, but acclimatized to change and allowed himself to enjoy new experiences and the company of a new person. I think he is a great and realistic role model for readers who feel ambivalent or hesitant about new situations. And I just love Lebourg's art style.
