Hank is irritatingly endearing, and Hank Goes Peck is a delightful board book publication that will have readers rolling their eyes and giggling. With Hank getting what's coming to him in the end (in a humorous fashion), children's sense of justice is satisfied while the concept of consequences for our actions is reinforced. Not only is the story fun, but so is the format. Peek-though cutouts allow little fingers to "peck" the next page and get Hank in trouble! I can easily see Hank as a character children will want to return to time and again.
