I hope this is part of a new series - that's how highly I regard this Everyday STEM title, Our Camping Trip.
A frame narrative of the Bright family's camping trip runs through the books, setting the stage for each 2-page spread's concept. Each concept is related to the camping trip, like navigation or the water cycle; some might be considered "advanced" science like atoms and molecules or spatial geometry. None, however, are confusing. Harastova and Chytilova have broken the information into manageable chunks and applied the concepts to everyday life, making everything easy to understand. Readers will better comprehend the world, appreciate science, and enjoy the pursuit of knowledge. Learning is fun, as it absolutely should be!
