Mom's Review
I think it would be fun to pick a few insects from the book, find them in their natural habitats, and then learn what the book offers while actually seeing them in real life.
A worthy addition to the bug-lover's shelf.

Mom's Review
Insectorama is like an encyclopedic guide to insects. With large, bright illustrations and an easy-to-follow format, this non-fiction selection is easily navigable by children. There are three aspects I particularly like.
1. the focus is on bugs we commonly encounter
2. the layout of information is highly accessible
3. the information conveyed holds the ideal level of detail, including order, description, metamorphosis, habits, and an observation guide detailing the male and female attributes
