Ayo's Adventure is an alphabetical journey across the globe, introducing aspects of African and diaspora culture. Reader's will enjoy Ayo's dream-adventure in which his mind transports him around the world, exploring the rich histories of Africans and descendants of enslaved Africans and the array of cultural practices that have emerged over the course of those histories. The book is divided into two sections: the story of Ayo's travels and encounters with something for each letter (like fufu, hip-hop, and Orishas) and the back matter that further explicates each topic. Very informative, and a fun format!
