Hanukkah Upside DownWritten by Elisa Brent Weissman
Illustrated by Omer Hoffmann

Mom's Review
I love how the cousins remain close, despite living on different continents and having visible diverging interests. The story may ostensibly be about celebrating Hanukkah in different climes, but if one scratches the surface, the joy of sharing one's culture and life with someone who cares to learn shines through. While I would have labeled this as a seasonal read based on the title, the content is enjoyable year-round and especially relatable for children who live far from their extended family.
Oh, and be sure to take a peek under the book jacket!
