T's Review
The Pebble is a story about the Holocaust. The crow represents the Nazis and the pebbles represent murdered and dead Jewish people. This kind of book has a message, and the message is to not be a coward. A girl is mad at the main character, a boy, because he didn't protect a small dog from a crow. A few pages later, he gets brave and stands up to the Nazis. I recommend it to people who want to learn about the Holocaust.
T built a LEGO scene to accompany his review. T explained to me that he selected this scene of destruction (the Pogrom) because he felt it was an important moment in history because it had a major and terrible impact on the Jewish people who were the victims of the attacks.
