Review
City of Time and Magic is magic – and you'll fly through it in no time.

The fourth installment in the Found Things series, and a crossover with The Witch's Daughter books, City of Time and Magic picks up where the previous book ended and packs a powerful punch. Xanthe's trip through time to Victorian London to rescue Liam expands into a dangerous endeavor to take down rogue Spinners who are lining their own pockets by disrupting the timeline. A plot full of adventure and mystery is augmented by the developing relationships and characters, whom we get to know more fully. Plus, we find out why Liam was kidnapped in the first place. I, for one, am grateful when authors allow characters to figure out answers reasonably rather than holding out for another book. It makes for a more satisfying and realistic read, which CoTaM undoubtedly is. I enjoyed the previous book, but not as much as the first two. This one, however, echoes the ingenuity and appeal of the first two and is right up there at the top for me.

Now I am reading The Witch's Daughter – I feel like I already know Elizabeth Hawksmith a bit, and I need to read more of her story.
