Review
With large print, few words, and giggle-inducing humor, Bad Apple was an instant hit. T reads it to himself, me, his dad, and his grandparents. The gist is that a bad Apple terrorizes those around it until a bitter end. Snake eats Apple in retaliation for Apple's consumption of Snake's cake – talk about some just desserts! Clever rhymes abound, until Orange's Page, but "that was never going to work." T had these adults chuckling for real as he read.

Bad Apple is a fun one for us all and a great option for T's independent reading.

In conversation, T shared that his favorite character is Pie. He let me know that the little green dot on every page is the narrator, and that "she's hiding on every page."
