Mom's Review
Waiting Together provides a springboard for talking about patience and delayed gratification. Young readers can identify with the characters' experiences, from short to long waiting periods, from disappointing outcomes to joyful surprises. Children's natural impatience is recognized while suggestions for managing time are gently recommended. Waiting Together helps develop patience in a fun, accessible way.

Son's Review
(Age: 5)
How T feels about waiting:
I don't like waiting 'cuz it makes me get tired and I always have to ask, "When? When? When?" And also, if it's a wait for a bunch of days, I have to count my calendar, and I don't often get my numbers mixed up, but sometimes I do.

What Waiting Together makes T think about:
It makes me think about the long travel I'm going to have. That's what it makes me think about.

What are some of the suggestions:
One of them is, "Don't make waiting faster." "Waiting with a friend."

What T liked:
I liked the pictures.
