Why we chose this book:

Review

Dinosaurs! Egyptians! Robots! And everything in between!

This book is precisely what you'd think: a history of everything. With a conversational tone, photographs, and illustrations, history is anything but dry. From the Big Bang all the way to Lucy and further on to Black Lives Matter, Lloyd addresses natural and political changes around the world. Of course the book does not truly cover everything; it's written as a story that gives one a broad understanding of interconnectedness and a foundation for further learning. You could skip around or read it straight through. Regardless of how you approach Absolutely Everything!, you'll get an idea of how you fit into the world's history.

This is above T's level, but he likes me to read about the robots at the end and any other pictures that catch his attention as he flips through. (He liked seeing a photo of Malala, for example.)

What on Earth? Books is one of my favorite small presses. I have come to have high expectations from them, and this one does not disappoint!
