Layer under layer under layer! This historical lift-the-flap book about Vikings is epic! Young readers can explore the history, religion, economy, travel, and daily life of Viking society, as well as the archaeological work that allows us to know all we do. This cartoon (but not cartoonish) illustrations filled with color captivate the attention, while the more than 80(!) flaps encourage curiosity and discovery. This history presents an absolutely delightful means of learning!
