Mom's Review
Heidi is a sweet introduction to the character and story for a very young audience without sacrificing major plot points - Aufranc has distilled Sypri's Heidi down to her core characteristics and life experiences. Using a combination of paper and digital art, Aufranc creates simple illustrations that reflect the uncomplicated and joyful life Heidi leads in the mountains as well as the straightforward challenges she faces in Frankfurt.

It was the art and character that first piqued my interest (mid-century modern style and one of my childhood's favorite characters). I was delighted by what awaited me when I lifted the cover. Parents who loved Heidi will find this to be a satisfying way to introduce her to children who are as yet too young for the real thing.
