The youngest reader can follow the pictures of the pet in situ and the picture of how to mee the pet's needs. I like how the books are set up for youngsters to follow the pictures, which are accompanied by simple labels, while a parent reads the smaller, more detailed information the cat or dog narrator is providing. These outline really easy ways for little ones to participate in caring for their pets. Cute, fun, and useful.
