Mom's Review
I never knew whodunit until the final reveal! This series just gets richer and richer as it grows.
I absolutely adore Siobhan's sleuthing! This installment of the Murder in an Irish Village series centers on a garden competition with one of the competitors turned into a garden statue and sprayed with gold paint. Multiple crime scenes and enough suspicious characters kept me on my toes the whole time. While Siobhan's brood is not as present as in the previous book, we still get a satisfying does of family dynamics and drama. Plus, Siobhan and Dara have their fist married fight, offering us a glimpse into her internal conflict and further developing her as a relatable, complex, and realistic character. The series now has over 10 books, and I am still surprised and delighted by how O'Connor keeps each book fresh while building on its predecessors. I have been recommending this series for years, and Murder in an Irish Garden will certainly keep me doing so!
