What Goes on Inside a Wolf Pack is a fascinating introduction to a year in the life of a Yellowstone wolf. Following a single pack from the birth of one litter of pups to another litter the following year, readers witness the cubs grow, play, roam, fight, and hunt. Side panels introduce the diverse flora and fauna of the national park. The dynamic images and nonfiction narrative make for a compelling read that is educational as it is entertaining. I love wolves and this picture book featuring living members of a Yellowstone pack is tremendous!
