In the Desert

Mom's Review
I love these brief poems characterizing the myriad forms of life in the desert. Brilliant illustrations accompany each poem, immersing the reading in the desert terrain. From fennec foxes and sand cats to crocodiles and dung beetles, the variety of life is incredible. The poetry reminded me of In the Past, which we reviewed some years ago, and I just checked the poet - he's the same, so it's not surprising that the flow is as delightful to read aloud as is In the Past. In the Desert is spectacular!
