Mom's Review

Insectopia
is a treasure trove of information. Each two-page spread showcases a particular topic, devoting one page to exquisite illustration and one page to informational text.

Insectopia is a book whose pages you browse and to which you refer with any kind of insect query. Want to know what insects herd flocks of other insects? There's a spread on that. How about which ones like the cold? That too. And who are caring parents? You guessed it! The text covers fascinating content and is captivating; you'll come away amazed at what you learned and surprised by how much you read - time stops when you are reading, so engrossing is the writing.

This oversized book is interesting, provides vast detail ideal for middle grade readers, and covers extensive topics of interest. Insectopia is an impressive publication that I expect will be a hit with budding entomologists.
