Beta Reading and Proofreading
Genres accepted: fantasy, cozy mystery, YA, and children's literature
Feedback offered: I will give detailed feedback regarding suspension of disbelief, plot (and plot holes), characters (believability, stereotypes), dialogue flow, inconsistencies, clarity, and general reaction, as well as any specific areas of attention you pinpoint.
Response time: 48 hours to review your request. Your book's length will determine the amount of time I need to read it and provide feedback. An average-length novel usually takes two weeks.
Format: I can comment within a document or provide all of a chapter's feedback in an email or separate document (or if there is another format, I'll use that - I'm flexible).
$5 for first chapter trial - to be applied toward final cost (In order to confirm that this is a good fit, I ask for your first chapter, for which you will receive detailed feedback within 48 hours of receipt.)
$30 for up to 20,000 words or for a picture book
$50 for up to 50,000 words
$100 for up to 100,000 words
